Expo Horizon 8300 opens its doors21 Oct 2014
On Sunday October 19 the expo ‘Horizon 8300 – Bouwwonderen in Knokke-Heist’ opened its doors. Its aim is to introduce the city’s ‘architectural miracles’ to a broader audience.
The third edition of the expo is based on two topics: large scaled strategic city projects and private projects. One of the latter is our project Timber Dune, a reconstruction and extension of a single-family house characterized by the typical cottage style architecture combined with a rigid approach executed in natural materials.
A lot of people witnessed the opening of the expo showcased in Scharpoord, the city’s cultural center. CONIX RDBM Architects wishes to congratulate everyone involved: Knokke-Heist for its initiative, Lieven Musschoot and Cas Moor for the expo’s unique interior design and all other offices for their ‘architectural miracles’.
