CONIX RDBM Architects | Granting of two new projects

Granting of two new projects

07 Oct 2013

October has been good to CONIX RDBM Architects. We were granted the design of two new projects in Brussels and Lummen.

Modular daycare center
Confronted with an acute shortage of pre-school day nursery in Flanders, the PMV (Participatiemaatschappij Vlaanderen) wants to cope with this problem by investing in temporary infrastructure.

In close collaboration with PMV, CONIX RDBM Architects will be developing so called ‘modular buildings’. The aim of the project is to design buildings that can easily be dismantled, adopt various functions and can be relocated throughout their lifecycle.

Residential care complex
Among the five candidates for this public tender, CONIX RDBM Architects was the winning team for the architectural design of a residential care complex and renovation of the elderly home ‘Het Meerlehof’ in Lummen. Next to the design, we also do the feasibility study and the safety coordination during the actual construction process. The projects is still in its initial stage, but we can already share one of its fascinating features: its location on top of a hill.

Needless to say that we recommend you to keep an eye on our news section to receive more updates on these and other projects!
