Kick-off construction process ‘Kreon’

07 Apr 2014

Kreon NV, operating in the lighting industry, wished to enhance the overall image of its industrial site in Opglabbeek by implementing a new office building , adjacent to two already constructed industrial sheds (a storeroom and a working spot). The assignment was to develop a representative building embodying Kreon’s corporate philosophy of creating ‘architectural lighting’.

The office will be built with its longest side fixed to the existing lodge, with its main entrance on the side. By linking old and new, there is a direct link between the concept and Kreon’s final products. On the front side visitors can park their cars, whereas the parking lot for the employees is located behind a wall accentuating the entrance and demarcating the private area. We also foresee greenery, a wadi and trees, all contributing to a pleasant working environment.
